Unplugged

Unplugged is our educational programme for pre-professional dancers training in conservatoires.

Through an intensive rehearsal process, that replicates Company life as an AKC dancer, students are invited to dive into our repertoire and gain first-hand insight into the practice, philosophy and values that inform Akram’s work.

Working closely with AKC artists, participants explore our distinctive approach to movement and storytelling, experiencing what it means to work with the creative rigour, generosity and curiosity of an AKC ensemble.

Recent and upcoming Unplugged projects have included working with London School of Contemporary Dance, Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Rambert.
