Tulani Kayani-Skeef

Tulani Kayani-Skeef is a dance artist based in London, training in kathak from Guru Sujata Banerjee. Since graduating from the South Asian strand at Centre for Advanced Training dance programme, Tulani has performed in leading dance competitions such as the finals of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Bursary Awards, taking place in Sadler’s Wells, and in the South Asian category finals of BBC Young Dancer 2019 competition at The Lowry, Manchester. She is a regular dancer of Sujata Banerjee Dance Company and also teaches classes for the company. She represents Indian classical dance through her role as a dance ambassador at the One Dance UK organisation and  is studying the Tanpura from the legend Pandit Ravi Shankar’s wife Sukanya Shankar.
