Originally from Australia, Tanisha Addicott is a London-based dance artist. She graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2023 and began her professional career with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, performing Romeo + Juliet on UK and international tours.
As a freelance artist, Tanisha has since worked across contemporary dance and theatre, performing with a variety of companies and artists, including Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, Theatre Rites in collaboration with Miguel Altunaga, James Cousins Company, Ballo Arthur Pita, and AWA – As We Are, touring India. Her theatre credits also include performing work by Shelley Maxwell at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and Blue Makwana for Sadler’s Wells Young Associates.
Tanisha is excited to make her debut with Akram Khan Company in Thikra: Night of Remembering.
