Pui Yung Shum is a contemporary dance artist with an all-around dance training background. With interests in object-movement relationship, she explores object-oriented ontology through creative movements. She started her ballet training in Christine Liao School of Ballet (Hong Kong) at the age of five.
She was awarded distinction from the Royal Academy of Dance in Ballet examinations and was invited to participate in The Genée International Ballet Competition in Antwerp, Belgium. In 2019, she completed her M.A in Contemporary Dance at London Contemporary Dance School. After graduating, she performed in several physical theatre works with the Papergang Theatre, Contingency Theatre and GhostandJohn.
