Maxime Dos

Maxime Dos graduated in 2005 from Institut des Métiers de la Communication Audiovisuelle (IMCA) in Avignon. He is based in Biarritz, France and works as a film director, cameraman, editor and graphic designer around the world.

Since 2010, he has been developing a striking visual identity for the internationally renowned dance company Akram Khan Company, producing trailers, behind-the-scenes documentaries, digital concepts and full online programmes. His versatile and creative skills in post-production, including sound and motion design, enable him to develop strong and extremely diverse aesthetics that resonate with each production.

Maxime worked with French choreographer Jean-Claude Gallotta for whom he has made numerous films of dance performances, as well as teasers and video scenography. He keeps developing collaborations with major international dance institutions and produces trailers and documentary films for English National Ballet (Akram’s Khan’s Giselle and Creature), Ballet Flanders (Noetic / The Rite of Spring), Sadler’s Wells London (Neighbours of Brigel Gjoka and Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit). He is also involved in regular projects with Opéra de Bordeaux, Malandain Ballet Biarritz, and dance artist Martin Harriague.
