Laura Bufano was born in Italy and began studying Bharatanatyam at a very young age at the Sangam Academy under the guidance of Lucrezia Maniscotti. At the same time, she pursued classical and contemporary dance training at the École Supérieure de Danse Rosella Hightower in Cannes, where she earned both her diploma and degree in dance. During the 2024/2025 season, she joins the Hungarian company Székesfehérvár Balett Színház as an apprentice, focussing on contemporary repertoire. In the summer of 2025, she performed as a member of the corps de ballet at the Sferisterio Theatre in Macerata.
