Dionysios is a dancer and choreographer from Athens, Greece. He graduated from the State School of dance in Athens and in 2015, he joined Akram Khan Company as a performer for the production Chotto Desh. Later on, together with fellow Greek artist and partner Danae Dimitriadi he created and danced their own works that have received numerous awards from some of the most important festivals and competitions of the contemporary dance scene such as RIDCC (Rotterdam), HICC (Hannover), Masdanza (Gran Canaria). Furthermore, they have choreographed for dance companies such as Skånes Dansteater, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and Staatstheater Braunschweig. In 2023 Dionysios returned to Akram Khan Company as a rehearsal director for the remount of Chotto Desh, while he continues to share his work around the world. He is currently living in Athens with his partner and their dog.
