Harriet (she/her) joins AKC off the back of successful contracts as Assistant Director for arts organisations such as Garsington Opera and the National Opera Studio. Whilst building her experience as a freelance artist, she developed arts management skills through contracts with the Royal Ballet and Opera and The Grange Festival.

Although Harriet’s background is primarily in theatre and music, she is a keen dancer whose undergraduate dissertation examined the musical score for Rambert Dance Company’s Ghost Dances, considering its use of South American folk music.

Harriet joined Akram Khan Company in May 2025.
